"To Be Yourself " Poem by James Tian from China

 

One day a voice through my soul,
Told me that all has another side.
Sticking to one aspect,
It’s the most common way for people.

One day a thought through my heart,
Told me that all has the unique laws.
Insisting a constant belief only,
It’s the most common way for people.

Good days or bad days,
There’s always a constant truth.
The perception is good gem given by God,
Feeling is also a livelihood.

To be yourself,
To hold the way that you proved.
Fickleness is your head of falling,
Move of time like a secret code.

To be yourself,
To avoid the firm blue.
Fickleness is your head of falling,
Believe yourself that you’re like a globe.
