MIK released debut album

 MIK released debut album

----------------------------------------

International Atmospheric Black/Post-Metal band MIK released their debut album «Ajmaq». The release was recorded, mixed and mastered by Elmer González in "Rite Studios".

Formed in 2026, MIK is an international depressive post-black metal project founded by Salvadoran guitarist/vocalist Elmer González and Galician rhythm guitarist Hilda Fernández, alongside bassist Elka Pérez and drummer Oscar Freites. Drawing inspiration from Burzum, Enslaved, and Silencer, the band pairs hypnotic repetition and atmospheric tension with Mayan and Nahuat symbolic motifs. Their music explores themes of eternal recurrence, existential dread, and psychological fragmentation. Rejecting easy resolution or redemption, MIK crafts an immersive sonic descent into the human condition, confronting emotional chaos and the lingering weight of consciousness through unyielding, melancholic intensity.
